Dinner at Red Kimono 30112008
We had a sumptuous dinner last Sunday with our good friends Chester, Pong and Susan. It was an eat-all-you-can at Red Kimono, a Japanese restaurant located near Tiendesitas. The food was great and it was worth the price.
After dinner, we walked on the streets chatting about different business opportunities. It was quite late and all the shops started to close. I felt full and sleepy and cannot concentrate on what they are talking about – businesses, recession and even the latest gossips. All I’m noticing was the great outdoor lighting along the streets. I want to make sure my house would have these as well. The house should be glowing with beauty not only during the day but also at night, especially during the holiday season which is just around the corner.
After a couple more minutes, we each decided to go home and rest because another long working day is ahead.
Official Twilight Soundtrack
I like ‘Decode’ by Paramore, ‘Flightless Bird’ by Iron & Wine and ‘Leave Out All the Rest’ by Linkin Park.

Twilight Review
I’ve always been a fan of vampires so I try my best watch every movie depicting the vampire biospheres. They’re commonly portrayed as powerful villains, who bite the neck that’s why I find it exciting. Now, another magnificent constitution of a love story with the vampiristic elements was released and like so many others, I too am very anxious to see this – the ‘Twilight’. Twilight is now showing this week in the 3 Eastwood cinemas but to night, most of the seats were taken. Marlon and I couldn’t even book for adjacent seats so we just bought two tickets and the seat numbers were apart from each other but luck came and I had convinced a person to exchange seats with me.
While I was watching the movie, I realized that I had fallen in love with Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), this time as a vampire, after his previous role as Cedric in Harry Potter. Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) had matured and had an improved appearance in this movie than in her ‘The Messenger.’ I found it exceptionally entertaining especially to the women. I enjoyed the movie as much as Merryll did. She wanted to go with us and watch the movie for the 2nd time but the seats were full. We share the same sentiment because we wanted a vampire like Edward as our boyfriend.
I’ve heard people say this movie was awful. I haven’t read the book but I prefer not to read. I’m not into reading long novels maybe because I am not imaginative enough or I am just too lazy. At least it hadn’t set my expectations on the movie. There are lots of movies created out of the best selling novels but most doesn’t really compare to how the book delighted your imagination. They’re just not comparable. After all, you cannot squeeze in all the details in a two-hour film. For some, they don’t want its being predictable, corny, etc., but that’s what you should expect from a teen love story and from a vampire-human affair.
Anyway, I’ve found Twilight so addicting and I can’t really wait for the sequel. I haven’t eaten my Italian chicken from Fazoali’s because I can’t keep my eyes off the movie. Edward Cullen is an ideal man for me and their relationship seem so perfect. The movie is just so captivating from start to finish. I’ll definitely add this to my list of all time favorites. Oh, and I like the soundtrack. I think I’m also going to search and buy the piano sheet that is being played by Edward.
The Investment Pyramid
This is my favorite pyramid aside from the food pyramid. Read on…
“As you can see from the investment pyramid, risk varies among types of investments. Bank savings accounts, CDs and life insurance programs represent the foundation of your savings program and carry a low amount of risk, and consequently, provide a lower return on your investment. As you ascend the investment pyramid, stocks represent a higher degree risk because of the unpredictable forces that govern the rise and fall of the stock market – namely, interest rates, world events, company and industry performance, and many more.”

Condo Living with a Pop Up TV
I saw a really cool pop up tv from a website while on the verve to minimize space in our condo. There are several styles to choose from that would fit one’s taste. Most are designed and made of quality wood. I’m saving to buy some nice furniture that would compliment our place without having to occupy much space. What do you think of these?
You see, we just rent out a small space, but we want to make it as descent and comfortable as possible. Judging by numerous designs you see everywhere, I’m sure there must be something that will fit our style. There lots of quality furniture and appliances to choose from, and it’s just a matter of carefully selecting what fits our taste and budget of course. Money is a big factor in deciding what to buy, but it shouldn’t be hindrance for having a nice place to stay. After all, home should be where people relax and unwind, just like here, your favorite online lair.
Actresses Battle Acne
British actress Kate Winslet admits she battles body issues just as any other normal woman. She revealed that since she turned 30, she has had some acne problems and that make up helps her cover it. I’m only 24 but breakouts sometimes spring out on my face randomly and I do not know where I’m getting it.
Beautiful Keira Knightley also had suffered some serious acne issues but looking at their faces now, you can’t even see a trace of the flareup. I’m so relieved that it’s really possible to put a solution to this kind of problem. I wonder though what they’re using as an acne treatment.

Hollywood Stars Using Appetite Suppressants
I’m looking forward to Desperate Housewives Season 5 Episode 9 but it will be aired 2 weeks from the last episode. In this episode, Carlos Solis was given hope that he could regain his sight. Here’s Here’s the preview:
It was revealed that the sexiest stars of this show are using an appetite suppressant pill. Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher are into these dieting pills. Angelina Jolie and Nicole Ritchie use these pills as well. The natural pills are making them eat less because they don’t get hungry that often. That’s the reason why these pills are becoming more and more popular – it’s the secret of biggest stars.
