Car Insurance Coverage – Include Acts of God (Natural Disaster)
Paying for auto insurance could be very costly for anyone, especially those who have very limited budget. However, recent natural disaster has forced some individuals to reconsider this. Take for example those affected by typhoon Ondoy (internationally known as Ketsana). The storm has caused major havoc in numerous places in Asia. One of its noticeable effects was the submerged homes and cars under floodwaters. After its onslaught, most car owners were unable to take advantage of their auto insurance because the coverage did not include damages caused by natural disasters. Such events have forced some people to rethink their insurance policy. The default auto/motorhome warranty or insurance is not enough to cover for all kinds of car damage, so there are people that avail of additional insurance to cover for other possible causes. This may not apply to everyone, but certainly if you are a car owner, you might want to think again.
