Months back, my husband and I have been contemplating on buying a house. We stayed in a condominium for almost five years now, and we thought that it would be good to have our own house. However, after considering a lot of factors, we decided not to buy any property yet.

There are two major advantages of living in a condominium that we currently experience. First would be security. This is evident since the regular association dues that the owners pay are invested on security cameras, guards and other things that tightens the overall security of the building. Second would be the convenience of living near everything including workplace, mall, shopping center, grocery, and a lot more. This saves us time, money and effort.

For now, we could be spending the next years staying in a condominium, but we still want to have our own house in the future.

After watching desperate housewives since Season 1, I can’t help it but to notice that it’s part of the western culture to welcome neighbors by offering a gift. A common offering is a basket of home-made cookies or cupcakes.

One gift idea though is to offer flowers in a vase with delivery. Doing so can also make the new neighbor welcome in the community. This is an ideal gift for housewives or for any women neighbor for that matter.
