Just recently, the Obama administration has just announced a plan to assist homeowners in paying their mortgages. This program allows people to have loans backed by the FHA or Federal Housing Administration.

Though intended to reduce monthly payments for jobless homeowners for a few months, this of course is not planned to assist all troubled payers because certain criteria applies.

Personally, though the government has been criticized for its steps to prevent foreclosures, opportunities like this should be grabbed by the community since these are designed for our welfare.
