Yearly, I usually come across several gadget sale around the city. During such events, vendors would usually offer discount desktops and laptops, cameras, iphones and mac book, and other accessories. A friend told me a few weeks back that one was held about two months ago, but I wasn’t able to pay a visit. Fortunately, the organizers are planning to have another event by the end of the year — so as early as now, I’m saving a few bucks just for that.

The internet has been a key tool for product promotions. I’ve signed up on several websites that offer special discount coupons and vouchers, ranging from hotel stays, spa treatment, food and restaurant offers, beauty products such as renuvie, vacation packages, and others.

Such websites are very helpful as they allow consumers to save some cash on purchases. What’s notable as well is that a lot of these sites are localized, meaning that products and services are actually offered by local businesses.

At this point, I’ve already made more than ten purchases, which is equivalent to around $150 in savings. Not bad I believe.
