The latest Johnny Depp hit the big screen – and early results and reviews are quite high. As of this writing, the rating is at 7.4 / 10 in IMDB. That is out of 1552 respondents.

The Alice in Wonderland characters are popular ones, and here are those that portrayed the primary characters.

In thecurrent season of Desperate Housewives, the cast seems to have found the fountain of youth as they continue to provide entertainment around the world even after years being viewed. Whether the secret is hgh supplements or anything else for that matter, DH fans are always waiting the next episode to be released. Everyone anticipates another set of thrilling episodes, and either one, two or more seasons.

In the latest Iron Man movie, Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will be back as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts respectively. Newcomers are Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow and Mickey Rouke as Whiplash. Samuel Jackson is also expected to show up with more appearance as Nick Fury.

The Iron Man sequel will hit the big screen on May this year. A lot of superhero fanatics, including me, are anticipating this movie especially after the successful debut years back.

Note that in IMDB, Iron Man 3 is also listed as one of the next films of Robert Downey Jr. In addition, there’s also an untitled sequel to Sherlock Holmes. With more than 5 future projects listed for him, Robert may be smoking some Acid cigars as sign of victory and success in his career. Hopefully though, they will be able to complete other Marvel films like Avengers and more.

The latest film from James Cameron is now the no. 1 highest grossing movie of all time worldwide, surpassing Titanic, and it might be the new no.1 in the US after this week. This news has been around the internet since the beginning of the week as viewed by tons of internet savvy from their laptops and other devices. However, recent news states that the film just got the benefits of time and technology to be ranked as the top film of all time.

Some reports stated that when inflation is factored in, Avatar only ranks at 26 while Titanic is at 6th. In addition, the film got more revenue because of its release in 3D, which costs about three times that of a regular film. This definitely helped increase the profits in a large way.

Despite this, the ranking is still recognized by most organizations, including IMDB. Personally, I would agree that the movie should rank as the top movie, unless a better film comes along.

After breaking box-office records, Avatar is reported to release its sequel in the next years. There are no definite plans so far and no target date set. However, different speculations are all over the cyberspace.

There are articles saying that the sequel will go beyond Pandora – the planet of the Na’Vi. This will include nearby planets and moons and focusing on a different civilization. Other articles mention that director James Cameron plans to make two more sequels and make it a trilogy, despite having directed only two movies in succession – Terminator 1 and 2. Actor Sam Worthington is also reported to have signed a contract for his lead role as Jake Sully.

At this point, there’s a great chance that a sequel will be produced because of the monster earnings that the film garnered in spite of its high production cost. Public clamor will also be a factor since, generally, there are so much appreciation from fans worldwide.

If ever they will rake in awards from different film related organization such as Oscar and Golden Globe (which most people think they would), then the more that a sequel should be made.

The latest season of the television series ‘The Biggest Loser’ carries the moniker ‘The Biggest Loser: Couples 3’. The theme of the latest season is somewhat unique compared to the previous one since couples are now involved. This is the third installment of such subject so its somewhat expected. However, the show does not fail in delivering entertainment to each household.

The show is not about any quick weight loss scheme or anything similar. It’s about obese and overweight people who accomplish their dreams of shedding off tens or hundreds of pounds and eventually having the body that they long for. Of course, this is on top of the cash prize that will eventually be awarded to the person who loses the highest weight loss percentage.

After a long break during the holiday season, Desperate Housewives is back on TV. After airing its first episode of the year, the TV show is scheduled to broadcast its next episodes in the coming days.

Season 6 Episode 14
This episode entitled ‘The Glamorous Life’ is reported to be aired during the last week of January, or on the 31st itself.

The series has been running for years. It may not promote women clothes, fat burner for women or a any product for that matter, but it has been anticipated by lots of people not only in America, but all other people worldwide – whether housewives or not.

Aired just last January third, this episode depicted several what-if scenarios from different character’s lives.

Susan thought of ‘what if I did not let Karl leave me’. She ended up being fat and unattractive, that even Mike Delfino disgusts here. Karl eventually left her still.

Bree contemplated on life without her husband Orson. She went on to have an affair with Karl, leaving Orson be heartbroken for a long time.
Lynette imagined a future with her unborn children. Nothing related to best prenatal vitamins were shown, but she thought her life raising a child with physical disability.
Gabrielle dreamed her daughter becoming an actress. She ended up being left by Carlos and have to suffer during the latter stage of her life.

Lastly, Angie pictured their lives if her secretes were revealed. She would spend the rest of her life in prison.

These thoughts of course were mere pigments of their imagination. They were not the exact events that happened eventually, but it gave the characters something to think about.

A good episode and title – ‘If’…

As of this writing, Avatar has grossed $1,337,046,514 in worldwide sales, second only to Titanic which garnered a total of $1,835,300,000. Interestingly, these top two films are directed by the same person – James Cameron.

Personally, we really enjoyed the movie. In fact, we watched it twice on big screen – once in the typical movie house and the other in IMAX 3D.

There are several scenes that created several comments – both positive and negative – from moviegoers. In one part of the film, it can be remembered that Dr. Grace Augustine perfectly described Pandora’s nature as she metaphorically compared the nature– Eywa – and all living creatures to a network, similar to an online backup wherein one can download and upload data and memories. However, this is criticized by Vatican because the movie depicts worship of nature.

There are other criticisms coming from different countries and sectors of the society. However, many movie lovers still share the same sentiment – the movie has delivered too much entertainment that will surely make it one of the films to remember for a long time.

For those avoiding any sleeping aid just to be awake and watch the Tonight Show, think again.

NBC has proposed to move O’Brien’s ‘Tonight Show’ to a later timeslot to accommodate Jay Leno’s ‘The Jay Leno Show’. However, it’s reported that O’Brien mentioned that he’s unhappy about that change. He’s quoted to have written the ff:

“For 60 years the Tonight Show has aired immediately following the late local news. I sincerely believe that delaying the Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting.”

There are even news that rival network Fox has been wooing O’Brien, but the network declined to provide comments according to most reports.

I’m not a big fan of any late night show. However, I do watch them sometimes. Personally, I don’t have any preference between Conan and Jay. They both do well in hosting.
