Creating your own websites is relatively simple nowadays. A lot of what-you-see-is-what-you-get web design software are out there that will help you create your website quickly. Gone are the days when you spend hours or even days working on the design. Today, it’s wiser to spend those hours to generate your content.

Most of the themes and templates for WordPress, Joomla and other platforms that are available on the internet were created by these web design applications. So far, the best application that I’ve ever used is Artisteer. In as little as one minute, I can come up with a very nice design for a website.

Artisteer allows you can generate random designs. After which, you can modify the details such as headers, footers, body, menu and a lot more. Given this flexibility, you can generate thousands of unique themes that you can sell or give away.

The latest version allows you to export your design into a WordPress theme, a Joomla template or a Drupal Theme. You can also export it into a traditional website design.

Here are some of the designs that I made with Artisteer. All of them are created with just one click! :)

I promised myself not to change themes often but here I am, officially using the Camsdcute theme. This is the 3rd theme I used since I started my site.

The theme that caught my attention when I’m browsing for the WordPress themes was the Green Light by Template Lite which I have used as my first:

Then I wanted to use a theme that would allow me to put more ads and use two columns of sidebar which then took me to my second theme Amazing Grace by Vladimir Prelovac:

I fell in love with these themes but now I have to move on. I have to say that I’m quite sad that I have to change themes once again. Now, you’re seeing my 3rd theme and I hope this will be the last. I have designed my own header to reflect the girly me (elements by: Carrie Stephens and ShabbyPrincess) and Marlon did the overall look and feel of my site using the software he had bought for creating themes. He plans to create and sell themes. As for me, I did some graphics designing and it seems a thousand years since I last used an image editing program. There! I’m just so happy that I and Marlon have put all our efforts together and the outcome is just awesome!
