For those avoiding any sleeping aid just to be awake and watch the Tonight Show, think again.

NBC has proposed to move O’Brien’s ‘Tonight Show’ to a later timeslot to accommodate Jay Leno’s ‘The Jay Leno Show’. However, it’s reported that O’Brien mentioned that he’s unhappy about that change. He’s quoted to have written the ff:

“For 60 years the Tonight Show has aired immediately following the late local news. I sincerely believe that delaying the Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting.”

There are even news that rival network Fox has been wooing O’Brien, but the network declined to provide comments according to most reports.

I’m not a big fan of any late night show. However, I do watch them sometimes. Personally, I don’t have any preference between Conan and Jay. They both do well in hosting.
