Different TV shows have established their popularity and brand throughout the years. There’s The Biggest Loser that focuses on obese people’s chance to lose weight, the Amazing Race that depicts courage and competition. The Survivor Series. Big Brother. America’s Top Model. And the list goes on.

The most popular perhaps is the American Idol. For several years, people around the world have been eagerly watching this – and that’s for several reasons. Aside from the talents that the show produces, one judge made a huge impact in the show’s ratings – Simon Cowell.

Unfortunately, it was reported that Simon will leave American Idol after years of being a judge. The announcement was made on 11th of January, 2010. This season will be Simon’s last as he plans to bring his British show X Factor the US.

It can be remembered that fellow judge Paula Abdul left the same show last year after 8 years of being with American Idol.
