GPS and/or iPhone
For weeks, we’ve been pondering on buying a GPS system. Though we still want to purchase a unit after checking on some gps reviews and actually using one, we’re having second thoughts because of two reasons – one is additional expense, and the other is that we have an iPhone.
We currently use the built-in Google maps in iPhone for navigation. It doesn’t function like a GPS, but it gives us direction, which is exactly what we need. Unfortunately though, the comfort of having a GPS is missed because we tend to stop just to check our location. Also, there are no great GPS applications available so far.
We’ll still be purchasing a GPS unit soon, but it could take us a month or so.
Camera or iPhone?
My eyes are set on two gadgets – a Lumix Camera and an iPhone.
Right now, I don’t own any camera except for the one embedded in my E66. I’ve read some camera reviews on Lumix offered by Panasonic and I’ve also seen some photos captured using it. Honestly speaking, I really like the shots that I’ve seen. On the other hand, I’m also planning to purchase an iPhone. In this, I get to have a camera, a phone and much more.
At this point, my budget only permits me to purchase one item within the year. I wonder what I’ll end up with.
