Several activities worldwide, such as turning off the lights for an hour during the earth day, are being performed to support interest. The common theme globally has always been care for the earth, which can be realized by recycling garbage, reusing things, reducing waste and saving energy.

One news states that London aims to “the cleanest, greenest city on earth” by 2012. Several summits are being attended to by leaders of different nations to combat issues such as global warming, pollution and climate change. Common individuals produce decent products out of recycled materials such as bags, patio chairs and tabletop designs. Even grocery stores promote reusable bags to minimize the usage of plastic and paper bags. This just proves that in one way or another, there is always a way for everyone to contribute to saving our dear earth.
