This year was a record year for wedding invites. I got invitation for a total of five, but I was able to attend only three, excluding one event when we arrived late. In addition, I also got married this year, which brings the number up to six total wedding ceremonies. In all those events, people came with their best clothes, certainly much better than prom dresses.

The last wedding that I attended was a few weeks back, the wedding of my friend Karon and Wayne. It was held at the same place where I got married. Unfortunately, it was on a Friday and my husband wasn’t able to join me due of other commitments. Nonetheless, I really had fun with my friends and family during that day and the succeeding weekend.

Last weekend, we attended another lovely wedding. It’s definitely one of the memories that we’ll cherish as it’s one of my favorites. Overall, the wedding was well-organized from the ceremony to the reception – especially the games.

The event actually paved the way to a mini-reunion with my former officemates since we rarely have the chance to get together. This one was special because it’s out of town, so we had more time to be together. The four day trip was enough for us to catch up and tell stories.
