Twilight Review

I’ve always been a fan of vampires so I try my best watch every movie depicting the vampire biospheres. They’re commonly portrayed as powerful villains, who bite the neck that’s why I find it exciting. Now, another magnificent constitution of a love story with the vampiristic elements was released and like so many others, I too am very anxious to see this – the ‘Twilight’. Twilight is now showing this week in the 3 Eastwood cinemas but to night, most of the seats were taken. Marlon and I couldn’t even book for adjacent seats so we just bought two tickets and the seat numbers were apart from each other but luck came and I had convinced a person to exchange seats with me.

While I was watching the movie, I realized that I had fallen in love with Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), this time as a vampire, after his previous role as Cedric in Harry Potter. Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) had matured and had an improved appearance in this movie than in her ‘The Messenger.’ I found it exceptionally entertaining especially to the women. I enjoyed the movie as much as Merryll did. She wanted to go with us and watch the movie for the 2nd time but the seats were full. We share the same sentiment because we wanted a vampire like Edward as our boyfriend.

I’ve heard people say this movie was awful. I haven’t read the book but I prefer not to read. I’m not into reading long novels maybe because I am not imaginative enough or I am just too lazy. At least it hadn’t set my expectations on the movie. There are lots of movies created out of the best selling novels but most doesn’t really compare to how the book delighted your imagination. They’re just not comparable. After all, you cannot squeeze in all the details in a two-hour film. For some, they don’t want its being predictable, corny, etc., but that’s what you should expect from a teen love story and from a vampire-human affair.

Anyway, I’ve found Twilight so addicting and I can’t really wait for the sequel. I haven’t eaten my Italian chicken from Fazoali’s because I can’t keep my eyes off the movie. Edward Cullen is an ideal man for me and their relationship seem so perfect. The movie is just so captivating from start to finish. I’ll definitely add this to my list of all time favorites. Oh, and I like the soundtrack. I think I’m also going to search and buy the piano sheet that is being played by Edward.
